Location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to all the major sights: Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, National Museum, all within walking distance. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is very friendly. They got us tickets for a evening of Muay Thai and were very helpfull with others questions and helped us getting a taxi and tuktuk. Nice cafe, with good coffee. Restaurant with good food.
staff was always helpful and service felt more personal as compared to other hotels. even the night guard was extrememly helpful in getting tuktuk or cab rides from outside the hotel going to our destination. quiet accommodation which provided some sort of calmness amidst bangkok's busyness.
no elevators as it was an old school building renovated as a hotel. it was a bit difficult having to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. but this was compensated with the readiness of the staff's assistance
It was my first time in Bangkok and I was with my parents so I was looking for a quiet place near the main attractions. Fortunatelly I made the right choise! The lobby is very quiet and well design, the staff is great and the rooms are very clean and have everything you need ! The location is simply perfect. Within walking distance of all the major palaces and attractions and is really easy to catch transportation to other places. Finally, the breakfast was like the hotel. Simple but with everything you need. As I said before, it was my first time in Bangkok but whenever I ll come back I will choose to stay in this hotel! Really great!
The staff was very welcoming, told us about all the surrounding attractions, the best ways to get there, where to eat. They were so accommodating to all of our needs, by far the most outstanding service we received in our 3 weeks in Thailand!!. We couldn't have asked for better service or a nicer hotel. The setting was beautiful, an old converted school house with a garden. Quiet. They have a buffet breakfast and a bar. Hot water, nice bathroom. Free WIFI. Safety boxes in the room are easy to use. They can call a metered cab for you (the cheapest way to get around bangkok) to be picked up in front of the hotel to go anywhere. We went from this hotel to the airport for 250baht, From this place to the Lumpani Boxing Stadium for 75baht.
There weren't a lot of places to eat real close. KhoaSan Rd is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile walk with no turns, there are plenty of restaurants there.
Map for taxi - very few of them could find the hotel easily
Very good experience of stay and staff very helpful although too highly priced for location and when compared with other competitors
Price a little high that's all
The hotel in very convenient for visiting Bangkok temples it's just a few minute walk from the main tourist spots. It's new and cozy. Would definetely recommend. They have a cafe upstairs with very good coffee btw
Clean sheets and towels; quiet room; nice courtyard setting; Excellent free Wifi; 1.5km walk to Khaosan
limited breakfast options; No bar; No restaurant services
Very clean.EXCELLENT Wifi coverage and speed.Quiet rooms. Friendly staff.Good tv. New furniture, towels and lines because hotel is new. Good size of room. Beautiful garden setting. Close to Royal/Grand Palace
Choice of 2 breakfast meals, no buffet breakfast.
Great location, nice clean rooms, helpful staff, breakfast ok.
They charge walk-ins more then via Booked.net, which I find very weird.
good hotel. good location.
no lifts. the tuk tuk drivers dint know the hotel. may be apromoinent board wud help as it is in in a small lane.
The location is super great for exploring the old city including Wat Pho, The Grand Palace and many of the local small street markets.
Nice staff, big bed
Location- it is only near to some temples but very old, dirty district, it is not easy to get there from some big shopping centres
I stayed in a dorm here, and was very pleased with all aspects of Feung Nakorn. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and spacious. There was air con, large lockers, and I used the very clean shared bathroom facilities. The hotel has Wi fi, but also very usefully provides a computer that anyone can use. This hotel is in a fantastic location for seeing all the Temples. It is very close to Wat Pho and the Grand Palace, both of which are amazing, must see locations if you are in Bangkok. It is about 12 minutes to walk to the Kho San road, so a better location for those who would rather be away from the hectic throng of youthful travellers.
The only negative about Feung Nakorn Balcony rooms is that Taxi drivers cannot find it, so I would suggest printing out the map on their website before you go. If you forget to do this as I did, it is best to tell them it is near Wat Rajabophit.
The location is an easy walk to many of the famous cultural sites. Breakfast was okay. Staff is quite friendly and helpful.
The nature of the room design, with large windows on the front wall, made it quite noisy when other guests were on the balcony and closed their room doors. It made it very difficult to sleep when people seemed to slam their door every hour. Also, there is no parking. It's even slightly difficult to get dropped off or picked up.
